“Hi V, and thanks for your reply. The post from Anon, Bristol was the one I was picking up on, as it could be seen in two different ways! :-/
Many thanks too for your condolences, I do know that other family members are keeping an eye on this story as it develops, and may take some comments as truth rather than speculation if you know what I mean!
Regards.....”

“Anon - firstly I reaffirm our condolences to your family. Secondly I am happy to try and clarify this situation by saying that the victim did NOT appear to be spiked by the railings, but was trapped by his clothing, I assure you no distress was intended.”

“Please people, do not speculate as to what happened here. He was a pedestrian, but most certainly *NOT* spiked on the railings.
Speculating like this does indeed upset the family, some of whom may read these comments. Please think on.......
The only reason I have ommited details of my name and location, is because this is subject to an investigation, and I am a member of the deceaseds' family,
Thank You for your consideration.”

“This man was in fact a trade plater trying to hitch a lift home after dropping off a vehicle. They are forced to do this dangerous thing on a day to day basis as their employers do not pay enough expences for them to get home useing public transport. I have tried for years to get this practic banned but to no avail. Time the Police took action to stop this dangerous practic not by hassling the trade plater but by prosecuting the employers”
