Bristol nursery overgrown garden into a special 'forest' for children
STAFF at a Kingswood nursery have transformed an overgrown garden into a special "forest" for children.
After employees of Hillside Day Nursery in Britannia Road attended a council-run training course they decided they wanted to make their overgrown wooded garden a useable "forest" space for children.

Now the nursery is to run Forest Skills classes, based on a Scandinavian model of outdoor education.
Nursery manager Sarah Cook said: "We achieved the transformation with the help of businesses RBS, GVA and Integral in the form of a community project arranged by two of our parents who work for them – they provided manpower and sponsored funding for the venture."
