Bristol mum surprised by Keith Chegwin on Daybreak after son nominates her for Mother's Day gift
Bristol mum Lucy Brookes got a surprise this morning when Keith Chegwin appeared on her doorstep, along with a team of camera men.
Ms Brookes, 28, was given a special prize by the TV presenter live on the ITV show Daybreak as part of a feature called Thanks Mum which is running all week in the run up to Mother's Day.
Ms Brookes, of Emerson's Green, was nominated by her son Jack, nine, who has spent recent months in hospital battling cancer, and he wanted to show her how much he loved her.
Ms Brookes has been married to husband Steve for 10 years and Jack is their only child.

Jack always likes to make a fuss for his mum on Mothers Day and her birthday and often gets his grandmother to help make a cake but this year when he saw Cheggers was looking for mums to surrpise he thought it would be perfect to nominate his mum.
His gran helped Jack with the email that they sent in to Daybreak.
Ms Brookes' mum Debbie told Daybreak that Lucy never thinks of herself, she always puts Jack first and it's nice that the family can do something for her.
She said that Ms Brookes never leaves Jack's side and if Jack has to stay overnight in hospital she will stay in with him.
Daybreak have organised four tickets for Lucy, Jack and their family to go and see Jack's favourite team Manchester United play in the quarter final match of the FA Cup on Mother's Day against Chelsea.
Here's Jack's original email to Daybreak:
