Bristol market traders battle through snow to set up shop
Two stallholders battled the heavy snow to set up shop at the farmers' market on Whiteladies Road, Bristol, and found a bustling trade as so many people were off work.
Joe Brake, 23, pictured, from Nailsea and Andy Gale, 47, from Filton stood alone in the cold as the majority of the 20 stallholders that usually attend the market decided to stay at home.

Mr Brake, who sells meat and game at his stall, braved a two-hour journey from his farm in North Somerset.
Despite the conditions, he said that he was glad he had made the trip.
"It was a nightmare to get here as Bridge Valley Road was closed and the Downs were chock-a-block this morning, but my trade has been just as good as usual.
"Lots of people are off work because of the snow so there are lots more people wandering by than there usually would be on a Friday."
Mr Gale, who sells pies, sausages and meat from his stall, also said that his takings had been good despite not arriving at the market until 11am due to a huge traffic jam on the Downs.
Both stallholders said that they had seen lots of regular customers who had happily trekked through the snow to reach the market.
One regular, Carolyn Wilde, 63, said: "I try to come to the market as much as possible, and the snow wouldn't put me off.
"There is a great atmosphere of generosity and friendliness amongst the farmers here, I really like to support them, whatever the weather."
