A Bristol man admitted obstructing a police constable in the execution of his duty.

At Bristol Magistrates' Court yesterday, Benjamin Eastman, 20, pleaded guilty to the offence in Kingsmarsh House, Lawrence Hill, on August 10.

Police were called to the address to arrest Eastman's brother for alleged criminal damage. Eastman ran shouting and screaming at the police officer with his fists clenched.

Eastman, of Fishponds Road, Eastville, was fined £65, a victim surcharge of £15 and £85 in costs.
