A Bristol man needed hospital treatment after he was punched in the face and robbed as he walked home after a night out.

The 30-year-old was attacked in Hill House Road, Downend, just before midnight on Saturday.

He was punched in the face, knocked to the ground and had his wallet taken by a group of youths.

He needed hospital treatment for cuts and bruises.

He described one attacker as white, aged in his late teens or early 20s, about 5ft 10in tall, slim and wearing a hooded top.
