A 34-year-old has pleaded guilty to burgling two houses in the St George area of Bristol.

Keith Evans, of no fixed abode, admitted burgling the two properties in Hudd's Vale Road and Cecil Avenue.

Bristol Crown Court heard that Evans stole a laptop, mobile phone, loose currency, clothing, including two leather jackets, an MP3 player, two pairs of sunglasses, a watch, two rucksacks and an iPod docking system from the home in Hudd's Vale Road on March 18 this year.

He stole a Nintendo Wii and games, laptop, camcorder, camera, two watches, jewellery, iPod, MP3 player, box containing credit and store cards, birth certificate and passport from the property in Cecil Avenue the following day.

Judge Jamie Tabor QC told Evans that a pre-sentence report would be prepared.

He told him: "I want you to understand quite clearly that it is very likely to address the length of prison sentence you will receive and nothing else."

Evans will be sentenced on August 7 and was remanded in custody.
