A 39-year-old Bristol man has admitted kidnapping his wife.

Marc Hopkins, of Rowacres, Hengrove, also admitted assaulting wife Kirsty in September last year when he appeared at Bristol Crown Court yesterday, as well as having a blade in a public place and making threats to kill.

Judge Julian Lambert adjourned the case for pre-sentence reports. He bailed Hopkins on condition he had no contact with his wife and stuck to a curfew.
