Bristol man jailed for assaulting security guards
A Knowle man has been sent to prison for three months for assaulting two security guards at Toys'R'Us in Brislington.
Michael Churchley, 32, of Salcombe Road, Knowle, was also found guilty of threatening staff at the shop on June 10.
Yesterday he appeared at Bristol Magistrates' Court via video link for the hearing, because he is already in prison.
Churchley was jailed for nine months in July for burglary.
A month later he received a further six months for stealing goods worth £4,000 from a Mulberry shop in Shepton Mallet, and five months for another burglary.
His new three-month sentence, one month imposed for each assault charge, will run concurrently with his previous prison terms.

“Why is the sentence concurrent?
That's no deterrent for this trash.”

“Churchley...hmmm
same family name as St Johns Lane drug/crime family who beat a man to death at The Park pub.
Anyone know what the actual cost of administering & processing this individuals crime/punishment, actual & latent costs, then yeah make him pay back every penny with slave labour.”

“A year's hard labour with no parole would be a better idea. Bring back rock-breaking!”
