A 20-year-old man from the Bristol area has been arrested after a car crash that killed a motorcyclist in Wales.

It happened on the A482 Llanwrda to Lampeter road near the village of Crugybar, Carmarthenshire, on Saturday, at around 4.10pm.

A blue Ford Mondeo and a red Triumph motorbike were involved and Roger Glyn Thomas, 60, from Kidwelly, was fatally injured.

The car driver, who has not been named, was treated for minor injuries and arrested. He was later released on police bail while a full investigation is carried out.

The A482 between Llanwrda and Crugybar was closed for five hours after the crash.
