A Bristol man admitted damaging the door of a pub when he was drunk.

Appearing at Bristol Magistrates Court yesterday, Liam Graham pleaded guilty to causing £247.86 worth of damage to the bottom panel of the front door of the Miles Arms, Avonmouth.

The court heard how Graham, 24, of Green Lane, Lawrence Weston started arguing with the landlord after closing time at 12.20am on January 10.

As he left he kicked the wooden door before running off down the road.

He was fined £240, ordered to pay £247.86 compensation, costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £15.
