A Bristol man has admitted to the Clifton Groper sex attacks
Jackson appeared at Bristol Crown Court today via videolink from Horfield Prison.
He admitted three sexual assaults on October 24, November 8 and November 21; and an assault by penetration on November 8.
His defence barrister Rosaleen Collins told the court that after the attacks, Jackson was almost suicidal. She said he was "disgusted with himself" and full of remorse, and that the attacks were completely out of character.
The actions of Jackson, who has light brown hair and was today wearing a red sweater and was clean shaven, led to many women in Clifton to fear for their safety at the time.
A psychiatric report has been carried out on the defendant and judge Jamie Tabor QC adjourned the case for a pre-sentence report. Jackson will be sentenced on July 3.

“Anne, do not assume this man is representative a men within Bristol. I would say a vast a majority of men do understand the impact of rape. People should still take care though...just as he's off the streets doesn't mean it's safe for people to wander home alone in the small hours of the morning. Another serious sexual assault was committed this week. Be careful Bristol.”

“Stephen, the police think he almost certainly would have graduated to rape. So the fact he hadn't yet actually raped, that we know of and remember most rapes go unreported is probably only down to the timing of his capture.”

“Anne i am continually seeing your comments on various stories and you continually anger me.
'Do men not understand the impact of rape?'
I am a man and YES i do understand the impact of rape i think you need to understand that yes females are more commonly raped by men but also females have been known to rape women, this does not mean that all men don't understand the impact of rape. Do you think these womens husbands understand the impact it has on there lives and the lives of there loved ones. No need to get all up yourself as you are a woman now anne ok.”

“Anne, he has not been charged with rape. Heaven knows what the comments on here would be like if he had been
As there is no comment on Jack to be seen I assume it has been removed because, to use your word, it was 'distasteful'. I have no seen it, but I think Dave's comment should be removed on the same basis.
As for r from Horfield advocating capital punishment for what used to be termed indecent assault, what can one say?”
