RICHARD Hill will unleash Alfie To'oala when Saracens visit the Memorial Stadium in the Guinness Premiership tonight.

After losing 17-3 to Newcastle on Friday, the Bristol boss has reverted to the same team which pushed unbeaten leaders Sale hard 12 days ago.

Back come fly-half Adrian Jarvis and lock Mariano Sambucetti for the 7.45pm fixture – but it is Samoan To'oala who Hill hopes will lift the crowd and inspire Bristol's first win of the season.

"The crowd responds to Alfie," said head coach Hill. "There was no doubt every time he got the ball against Sale the crowd noises lifted."

"He is one of those people who frightens the opposition. When opposition players are in possession, you tend to keep one eye open for Alfie – because if you are not careful he will catch you when you are not looking and he hits very, very hard.

"There are certain people the crowd come to watch. They want to see Aflie make those big hits, put opposition players on their backsides and carry the ball very strongly.

"There was this occasion against Sale where Graeme Beveridge ran across and Alfie hit a perfect line and battered through a couple of tackles.

"No 8 Dan Ward-Smith played exceptionally well also. He carried a lot of ball as well as Alfie. They were our two main carriers. We will need them at their very best."

The club have lost their last four matches and are bottom of the table yet Hill remains confident Bristol will kick-start their season soon, he is just unsure when.

Hill added: "It will click at one stage but who knows whether it is going to be Wednesday or a little bit later on. We hope it will be on Wednesday.

"There's a good mood in the camp. It's very positive. We are all looking forward to the match. We have to hope it comes together on Wednesday."

And Hill is putting his team's defeat against leaders Sale Sharks into perspective

Hill added: "The Premiership is strong this season. If you look at Sale, who have won four out of four, we lost 9-6 to them.

"Now we're bottom and they are top. You can see there the competition is very strong.

"I said at the start of that this is the most competitive Premiership since the start of professional rugby. There are 12 very good teams."
