Bristol knifeman still at large
A knifeman who attacked a father and son on the Gloucester Road is still at large.
Neil Beirne, 25, was stabbed in the back of his head and his arm when a man wielding a knife pounced for no apparent reason, outside the Old Fox pub on Saturday, March 21.
His father John, 51, needed 17 stitches after he was slashed across the face under his left eye.
At 11.30pm that night, the men, from Bedminster and Knowle, had stopped at the Old Fox for a drink.
Neil was waiting outside while his dad said goodbye to friends when a stranger, talking in what was believed to be Turkish, attacked them. He then ran off towards Gloucestershire County Cricket Club.
Avon and Somerset police spokeswoman Claire Stanley said: "Following this investigation no arrests have been made to date.
Anyone with information should call police on 0845 4567000.
