A 17-year-old girl was left with cuts and bruises to her arm and stomach after being assaulted by two teenagers in Bristol.

The girl had just had an argument with her partner and was walking in Victoria Street towards Downend when she was approached by the two women, said to be in their late teens, who attacked her.

Police yesterday appealed for anyone with information about the incident, which happened on October 1 at 8.30pm, to contact them on 0845 456 7000 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
