Bristol fireworks boss denies charges
The boss of a Bristol fireworks company has denied a number of fraud and health and safety breaches relating to the running of his business.
Jason Edgecombe, 28, pleaded not guilty yesterday to charges including falsely claiming to have public liability insurance as well as failing to discharge a duty to ensure the health of JWP Fireworks employees regarding firework displays.
Judge Michael Longman adjourned the case at Bristol Crown Court for a trial at a later date.
Edgecombe, of Mangotsfield, was bailed on condition he reports to Staple Hill police station weekly.
