Bristol grass racers John Weeks and Rod Melksham will be out to end the season in winning style in the SWEGA Association's final meeting of the year at Plymtree, near Cullompton, Devon, on Sunday.

Both like the super-smooth Harvesthayes Farm circuit, but they face a stiff challenge from younger rivals Jake Quintrell, Chesney King, Sam Foley and Ben Masters, and regular race-winners Josh Dingle, Max Sandford and Dean Cutler in a 50-race programme.

Chippenham motocross star Stephen Sword goes into the final round of the British Championships at Landrake in Cornwall on Sunday with the 250cc class championship already under his belt, so will be competeing in the open class with his KTM team-mate Shaun Simpson. Brad Anderson, who, clinched the open class title in the previous round in Scotland, misses the event with a broken thumb.

More than 50 riders are expected to support the North Somerset club's hour-long timed and observation trial at Chelwood on Sunday for the Ivan Manning Trophy

Bristol sidecar trial aces John Tuck and Matt Sparks will be aiming to secure their third national championship win in the penultimate round at Pateley Bridge, Yorkshire, on Sunday.
