Bristol's Mark Dudbridge and Steve Brown both reached quarter-finals in PDC Pro Tour events in Germany at the weekend.

World No 22 Dudbridge thrashed Premier League star Adrian Lewis 6-1 in the third round of Saturday's Players Championship event in Gladbeck, before going down 6-3 to eventual winner Vincent van der Voort in the last eight.

And Brown, the world No 57, was beaten 6-5 by the eventual runner-up, Mark Walsh, in yesterday's Players Championship event at the same venue.

Dudbridge went out in the third round yesterday as Lewis exacted revenge for Saturday's drubbing with a 6-2 victory, before going on to beat Walsh 6-4 in the final.
