Dancers, aged from three to 18 years old, competed in a number of classes giving a total of 1,000 dance performances, including ballet, tap, modern and Greek.
The festival, which is now in its 10th year, has been judged by Linda Young, who is an examiner for the British and International Federation of Festivals.
Youngsters who performed well in the contest included 10-year-old Alice Ellison from Backwell, who attends the Adele Stitch School of Dance, who scored 86 points out of 100 for her Greek solo performance.
Jessica Jones, aged 10, from Cleeve, also impressed the judges with her solo performance of modern dance, scoring 90 points.
The festival was due to come to a climax today when the winners from the older age groups will compete in a contest, performing dances including ballet and modern.
Six dancers from across the area had made it through to each final by yesterday, including Siobhan Diffin, from Backwell, Jessica Sparling from Nailsea, Philippa Hirst from Backwell and Louise Marrs from Clevedon.
