Fire crews were called to a blaze at a demolition site in Bristol last night.

They arrived at about 8pm to extinguish the flames at the site at the junction of Emery Road and Stockwood Road, Brislington, where Ace Motorcycle Training used to be based.

The fire had taken hold in timber and building site debris, and it took crews two hours to put it out.

They were aided by a JCB, which turned material over for them to get at all the flames.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
