A conference looking at why carers give up work has been held in Filton.

Balancing Work and Care: The Social and Business Benefits of Supporting Carers in Paid Employment was held at Bristol Aerospace Welfare Association (BAWA) Conference Centre.

Keith Sinclair, chief executive of The PRT Carers Centre in Bristol and South Gloucestershire, said: "This is just the beginning and we hope to reach out to more employers in the future."
