Bristol community thanks police officer
MORE than 60 residents gathered in Horfield yesterday to say thank you and farewell to their bike-riding beat manager.
The Deputy Lord Mayor Brenda Hugill made a presentation of Bristol blue glass and flowers to PC Amanda Frame, who has served in the area for the past six years.

The gathering took place at Eden Grove Methodist Church in Horfield, where representatives from Bristol City Council, Bristol Community Housing Foundation and Upper Horfield Community Trust (UHCT) all spoke of their appreciation of her work over the years.
Ray Hulbert of UHCT said: "Amanda is unique. When she came Upper Horfield was in the doldrums in terms of anti-social behaviour and crime. But now and certainly over the last 12 months, through her hard work, there has been a tremendous downfall in crime figures."
PC Frame is moving to join the Newfoundland Road station in St Paul's in a new role as Sergeant.
