Former Bristol college student stars alongside David Tennant in new drama series
A FORMER student from South Gloucestershire and Stroud College stars alongside David Tennant and other household names in a new eight-part television drama.
Bristol-born Joe Sims has seen his career flourish since completing a BTEC in performing arts at the college in 1999.
The awarding-winning actor has undertaken a variety of acting roles, working in theatre, radio, television and film.
Now his dream has come true after landing a part in a new ITV1 crime drama Broadchurch, which also stars Olivia Coleman and Pauline Quirk.

The second episode of Broadchurch, which was filmed in Bristol and the West Country, will be broadcast at 9pm on MondayMarch 11.
