Children at The Manor Church of England Primary School in Coalpit Heath have been bringing numbers to life.

They are taking part in a number week, which has seen pupils following number trails outside, using real money, number software, dressing in costume, role playing as shopkeepers and meeting visitors from the Explore Learning team.

Laura Holbrook, numeracy co-ordinator at the school, organised the event.

"It's a great chance for children to really enjoy numeracy and engage in solving number problems," she said.
