Bristol children learn Victorian way of life
Children at a Patchway primary school celebrated its 150th anniversary with a day experiencing what it was like to be at a Victorian school.
The pupils at St Chad's C of E Primary School wore Victorian costumes they had made at home for their day of lessons, and had a special Victorian-themed lunch.

It was all part of a week of events at the school to celebrate the occasion.
On Tuesday former pupils, staff and friends visited for an open afternoon and evening, where they had the chance to take a tour of the school, browse historical information, enjoy refreshments and socialise with old friends.
Headteacher Tony Cooper, in a mortar board and cape, said: "It is tremendous to see the children so excited and reliving a part of the school's history."
On Saturday, the school will hold a fete to finish the week's events.
