Bristol charity volunteer gives website a makeover
A children's charity has had a makeover of its website thanks to one of its volunteers.
Louise Billington did the work for Clover House in Saltford as part of a Women into Enterprise course at Bath University.
Clover House is a complementary therapy clinic for children with physical, emotional or behavioural problems. It wanted to update its logo and website – www.cloverhouse.org – so it appealed to parents and to educational and healthcare professionals.
Louise used the rebranding skills she'd learned to help revamp the website then used the example as a case study for her marketing portfolio for the course.
She said: "Women into Enterprise is a practical course for women who are interested in working for themselves. I wanted to launch my own business providing marketing support to other creative and lifestyle businesses, and working as a volunteer with Clover House gave me the ideal opportunity to put my idea into practice."
Practice manager Gillian Gill said: "As a small charity, our main problem is raising our profile so that parents are aware of us and know they can get in touch if they are concerned about their child's health or wellbeing.
"Our fundraising activities allow us to offer affordable treatment and our aim is to double the number of children we treat in the next year. We hope our new look will help."
