Bristol charity rock 'n' roll concert raises cash for cancer charity
A concert was held last night at Colston Hall to raise money for a cancer charity.
Rock 'n' Raise was held in aid of the Bristol-based Nicola Corry Support Foundation, which helps families coping with cancer.
The charity was set up to help Nicola Corry, pictured, who was only 23 when she was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, desmoplastic small round cell tumour.
She went through various courses of treatment while caring for her newly born son before passing away in May, 2005. Following her death, it was decided the charity should continue to help others facing similar situations.
This is the third consecutive year the event has been held. The line-up included bands such as Daz, The Tonemasters, Copperhead and On The Edge, playing everything from rockabilly to soul.

“A truly amazing evening. Thank you to all who came to support the Nicola Corry Support Foundation.
Thank you also to all the bands who did a fantastic job and especially to Daz for all his hard work.”
