A car fire in Barton Hill caused three windows in a nearby community centre to crack.

Fire crews were called to the scene at about 2.30am on Monday morning when a Vauxhall Carlton and a Ford Transit were reported alight on Bright Street.

The fire caused windows in a nearby building, used as a community centre to crack but no one was injured.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
