St Peter's Hospice is appealing to Bristol businesses to sign up and battle it out to be crowned corporate quiz champions.

The annual event will be hosted by former Bristol and England rugby star and Radio 5 Live rugby commentator, Gareth Chilcott on Thursday, March 12.

Previous winners have included Western Power Distribution (2006) and Pricewaterhouse Coopers (2007 & 2008).

The general knowledge quiz, which is being held at the Mercure Holland House Hotel this year, will help raise much-needed funds to allow Bristol's only adult hospice to continue to provide palliative care to local people, as well as supporting their family and friends.

Sian Rees, corporate fundraising manager at St Peter's Hospice, said: "This is a well-established event on the networking calendar – a really good opportunity for local companies to meet other like-minded businesses and raise funds for a good cause at the same time. "

Last year the quiz raised £7,500 and 42 teams took part. The target for this year is to try and fill all 50 slots and raise £8,000.
