Bristol buses diverted for Remembrance Day services
A number of First bus services will be diverted in Bristol as a result of the Remembrance Day services.
The centre in Bristol will be closed between 10am and noon on Sunday.
All services that travel through the centre towards Park Street will be diverted via Lewins Mead, Marlborough Street and Park Row before rejoining their normal routes.
For buses towards the centre, this will apply in reverse but, when reaching Rupert Street, buses will turn left into Bridewell Street then left again into Nelson Street before joining their normal route.
A number of services that normally terminate at the centre will finish instead in Broadmead, including six, four, 36, 25, 43, 44, 45, 50, 51, 48, 49, 90 and 73.
Services 20, 24 and 90 will be diverted via Broadmead and through to Redcliffe Hill in both directions.
Services 75 and 76 will be diverted through Broadmead and Temple Way in both directions.
All services from Bristol bus station that pass through the centre onto Anchor Road will be diverted via Marlborough Street, Park Row and Jacob's Wells Road in both directions.
The Bristol International Flyer will also be diverted along the above route.

“Hmmm, not sure pParking Services do anything about car alarms. It seems such a shame that those attending such solemn events can['t be overlooked for minor infringements on such a melancholy occasion....”

“Let's hope so - then we wouldn't have some ridiculous car alarm going off during the ceremony like a year or two ago...”

“No doubt BCC Parking Services will be parachuting in their crack team of law enforcers to ticket anyone who may park anywhere near the Cenotaph? We can all sleep better in our beds knowing they are looking after us.... God bless em I say!”
