The SkillMiles scheme was set up to provide official recognition of a person's or company's contribution towards the IMI's work in meeting the skills needs of the automotive industry.
Points are awarded to individuals and businesses that support the drive for better skills.
Jon said: "This award is for everyone at the academy who work so hard to make it the excellent place of learning that it is.
"They should all be extremely proud of their achievements."
