Pieminister is celebrating its sixth birthday next week.

Anyone who visits their original shop on Stokes Croft on Tuesday will receive a special goody bag.

The pie manufacturer's Christmas pies are currently on sale at Stokes Croft and their other permanent shop in St Nick's Market, as well as temporary stalls, including those at Corn Street farmer's market and Tobacco Factory market.

Back by popular demand, the Christingle combines honey roast parsnips, warm West Country cheddar cheese, chestnuts and white port.

The Charade pie (i.e. Christmas game) serves up slow-cooked venison, partridge and pheasant with parsnips and puy lentils.

Pieminister now have permanent shops in Bristol, Oxford, Trentham and Derby, and from next year will be visiting two more London markets – St Katherine's Dock near Tower Bridge, and Clapham.
