Bristol Zoo is offering the offering the trip of a lifetime to experience the 'Lemurs of the Lost World' in Madagascar.

The holiday offers a chance to marvel at Madagascar's unique wildlife: scores of lemurs, chameleons, birds and invertebrate oddities such as the giraffe-necked weevil and flatid bug.

You'll also get the chance to immerse yourself in lush green rainforests, semi-arid sandstone landscapes, transitional forest and unique spiny forest.

The tour, organised in partnership with Reef & Rainforest, will be led by a local Malagasy Naturalist Guide, assisted by Bristol Zoo's Education Manager Dave Naish.

Taking place in October, the holiday lasts for 17 days - which includes three days of leisure time to yourself in addition to the tour with other like-minded people.

A Bristol Zoo spokesperson said: "If you're looking for a truly unique holiday experience, surrounded by magnificent landscapes and some of the most endangered species on the planet, then this is for you.
