"I'm happy to be joining a conservation charity which has such strong credentials and plays a big part in Bristol and beyond," Chris said. "I'm looking forward to being part of such a well-known visitor attraction."
He added: "This year we are focusing on enhancing the guest experience at the Zoo and moving closer towards our ultimate goal of being the best city zoo in the world."
Bristol Zoo's Head of Commercial Operations, Wendy Walton, said: "We are thrilled that Chris has joined us at Bristol Zoo. He has a strong background in customer relations which will be of great benefit to us and we very much welcome him on board."

“@Bristol Zoo Gardens
"Currently, we regret that we will not be opening the Guthrie Road entrance at this current time. We are sorry for this inconvenience; however we believe that we can better serve our guests by focusing our efforts through our dedicated day guest and membership centre.
Thank you for your comments."
Thank you for having the courtesy to reply. Part of the problem is that route planning sites direct pedestrians to that entrance, which involves them in another third of a mile walk to the main entrance. Perhaps it would help to have signs along the pedestrian route from Clifton Down Station to the main entrance?”

“Good. Can we have the Guthrie Road entrance open for people walking from Clifton Down station?”
