Bristol Zombie Walk 2012
Bristol is bracing itself for an influx of zombies at the weekend…
Thousands of people dressed as animated corpses are expected to be marching the city's streets on Saturday afternoon (October 27).
-

Bristol Zombie Walk.
Meeting at Kings Square (off Jamaica Street, Stokes Croft) the scary brigade will head along a route that eventually ends at Castle Park. (A map can be seen at the Facebook event). There will be stewards at all road crossings and most turn points.
It promises to be quite a sight so feel free to post any scary photos on this website.

“Walking down union Street yesterday it was great fun watching the zombies though a few minutes later i changed my mind. Some mindless zombie with her bottle of cider frightened my 10 yr old. she came right up to her and said boo. my daughter was extremly upset and wanted to go home. In future zombies dont pick on the kids!!!”

“Good luck to them - and hopefully the "anti tesco/capitalism/paying your way" crowd don't bandwagon jump and try to turn it into a vehicle for their own purposes.......”

“Fun is in the eye of the beholder people! Not my cup of tea but I would fight tooth and nail for these guys to be able to do what they want to do.
It is a harmless activity that some enjoy, so whats the drama?”

“You know what else is attention seeking? Being deliberately provocative in the comments section of local newspapers! Also, the actors in the film and the musicians in the bands that have Piggy's blessing are attention seeking. Pffft. I don't do it because I don't like dressing up, but I often meet up with friends who have taken part...It's just a bit of fun that adds a bit more colour to Bristol!”

“Time the new Mayor ensured the Council use their resources better than getting involved with this dross. Combine this with the Nelson St graffiti fest and keep all the crackpot rubbish together”
