Bristol Sonics' hopes of playing in a curtain-raiser before Celtic Crusaders' Super League contest against Wakefield Wildcats at the Brewery Field tomorrow have been dashed.

They had hoped to take on Wales Students in Bridgend but the game has been switched to The Verlands, Pencoed, with an Academy match now due to be played on the Brewery Field.
