Bristol Rugby team news: James Merriman misses out
BRISTOL Rugby take on Rotherham Titans at Clifton Lane this afternoon (3pm) - but flanker James Merriman has been ruled out with illness.
The openside had been due to start on the bench, with Roy Winters starting at blindside flanker and skipper Iain Grieve at openside.
But he was ruled out this morning, so youngster Steve Uren comes onto the bench.
In total, Liam Middleton has made seven changes to the side beaten 22-21 by Moseley eight days ago, with Mike Tagicakibau, Bryan Rennie, Matthew Jones, Kyle Traynor, Tom Channon, Ben Glynn and Winters coming into the starting line-up.
