Bristol Rugby sign hooker Will Tanner on loan from Bath as Rhys Lawrence joins injury list
BRISTOL Rugby have added Bath hooker Will Tanner to their ranks on a dual-registration agreement ahead of Saturday's trip to Rotherham Titans.
Bristol, who were already without Ross Johnston (knee injury), have now lost Rhys Lawrence to a broken nose.
Tom Channon will therefore start at Clifton Lane this weekend, with 20-year-old Tanner, who featured for Clifton and Taunton last season, coming onto the bench.
Tanner, who has played for England at under-16 and under-18 levels, made his debut for Bath in the Aviva Premiership clash with Sale last December.

Bristol head coach Liam Middleton said: "Rhys has broken his nose, so he won't be available this weekend. Tom will start and we've got Will Tanner on loan from Bath, which is good news for us."
