Bristol Rovers vs Exeter City game cancelled

Bristol Rovers' clash with Exeter City tomorrow has been called off due to adverse weather conditions.

Following advice from the Stadium Advisory Group, club officials took the decision to cancel the game at the Memorioal Stadium this afternoon.

A statement on the club's website said: "Having taken into account the weather forecast for the next 24-hours, which includes more snow and freezing temperatures over night, the club has taken an early decision to remove any uncertainty.

"The decision has been fully supported by the local police.

"The Memorial Stadium and the surrounding areas are currently covered by a couple of inches of snow, which is not forecast to clear overnight.

"We will let you know the date for the re-arranged fixture as soon as it has been agreed by both clubs. The club shop will also be closed tomorrow."
