Bristol Rovers fan's view by Dennis Payter: The bubble has well and truly burst
Bristol Rovers fan Dennis Payter: The bubble has well and truly burst, make no mistake this was a very bad defeat against The Glovers.
Why is it that in modern-day football the team that takes the lead after making all the running then sits back and lets the opponents come at them the way we did.

Now after being relieved that we didn't have to play Leeds seven days after the Norwich debacle we have just three days to sort things out.
The first half performance was fine with no signs that we would capitulate to a no more than average side from Somerset.
Another former Rovers great watching on Saturday was goalkeeper Martin Thomas who made his debut at 17 before moving to Newcastle for £50,000 in 1983 and gaining a full Welsh cap.
He would have wondered why Mikkel Andersen chose to stay on his line instead of coming for some crucial crosses after the break.
I was in the DAS enclosure right behind the free-kick which led to the equalising goal and it was evident as soon as the ball was in the air that it should have been the 'keeper's. Yet he was to repeat the error minutes later with another free kick from the same spot which led to the winning goal. I hope that recent defeats have not shattered his confidence because he has been great for us until now.
When he first came to Rovers he had no fears of coming for the ball and would have taken crosses like Saturday's with no trouble at all.
I recall how he coped so well with the recent bombardment at Southampton so I hope the Yeovil game was just a blip.
But I cannot say the same about the enigma that is Mark Wright. I must be missing something here, because I still cannot work out why he gets a starting place at home instead of Andy Williams. Once again when he came on Williams made things happen and caused some mayhem with his pace. Maybe the manager feels he has to play Wright after signing him recently, but we need to start with our best line up. Tomorrow night would be a great time to test that theory.
