Bristol Rovers sign Charlton Athletic striker on loan
Bristol Rovers have confirmed the signing of Charlton Athletic and Ghana international striker Chris Dickson on a three-month loan.
The 24-year-old featured 24 times for Charlton last season, predominantly from the bench, but has yet to make the first-team this season and is in search of first-team games.

New signing for Bristol Rovers - Chris Dickson in action for Charlton last season
He will officially become a Rovers player later today once the relevant paperwork has been completed and has been given the number nine shirt.
Former Addicks boss Alan Pardew pulled Dickson from obscurity at non-league Dulwich Hamlet in March 2007 and he went on to have a prolific loan spell with League One Gillingham where he scored 11 goals in 14 appearances.
His first goal for Charlton came in their FA Cup third-round replay against West Brom in January last year and has two caps for Ghana.
Bristol Rovers hope to make use of the 'emergency loan' system to bring Dickson to the Memorial Stadium as a fourth striker alongside, Jo Kuffour, Darryl Duffy and Ben Hunt.
Andy Williams is back in the Pirates' side but remains transfer listed.
Dickson set up the second goal for Charlton reserves in a behind closed doors 2-2 draw with Ebsfleet United on Tuesday.
Charlton currently top Coca-Cola League One on goal difference from Leeds United with Rovers four points behind in third place.
