Bristol Rovers bosses help cancer research
Directors at Bristol Rovers are helping to launch the club's fundraising drive by showing their support for prostate cancer research.
Four directors at the club have had their blood tested for prostate cancer after adopting Run for the Future as its 2009/10 season charity.

Director Barry Bradshaw was alongside club chairman Nick Hicks and director of football Lennie Lawrence to have the PSA blood test at Southmead Hospital.
Run for the Future is an annual 5km run organised by Bristol Rotarians, in aid of the Prostate Cancer Appeal at the Bristol Urological Institute (BUI). This year's event takes place on Sunday, September 20, and Rovers directors hope the club's supporters will rally to the cause.
Mr Bradshaw said it was all about common sense. He said: "We men need a kick up the backside sometimes to look after our health."
The first three Runs for the Future raised more than £130,000.
It's hoped that the research will lead to a more accurate test for the disease and the introduction of a national screening programme on the NHS.
Bristol Rovers is carrying details of this year's Run for the Future on the Club website and in its match day programme. During the season Run for the Future will also be having a series of bucket collections at home matches.
