Bristol Rovers and Bristol City fixtures announced for 2012-13

Next season’s fixtures for Bristol City and Bristol Rovers have been announced.

In the NPower Championship the Robins will face Nottingham Forest for their first game of the season away on August 18, followed by two home games against Crystal Palace and Cardiff.

And in the NPower League Two the Pirates will face Oxford United for their first match of the new season at home on August 18, followed by two away games at Barnet and new addition to League Two Wycombe Wanderers, who were relegated from League One last season.

The Christmas fixtures this year will see City play Ipswich away on December 22, Watford at Ashton Gate on Boxing Day and Peterborough at home on December 29.

Then on New Year’s Day they’ll be taking a trip to Millwall.

Rovers play Rotherham at the Memorial Stadium on December 22, Aldershot away on Boxing Day and local rivals Cheltenham Town away on December 29.

Then on New Year’s Day they’ll be playing Plymouth at home in another local derby.
