Bristol Pitbulls bid to join ENL
Senior ice hockey is returning to Bristol after a 16-year absence.
The city has been without a team since the demise of the Bristol Bulldogs but the Pitbulls are attempting to join the English National League (ENL) next autumn.
The Pitbulls are bidding to be voted into the ENL at the league's AGM next June and their success will be determined by the level of interest shown in the team by the public.
The team will stage the first of several challenge matches when they take on Isle of Wight Tigers at Bristol Ice Rink on Saturday, December 13 (6pm).
