Staff and pupils from Bristol Metropolitan Academy took to the stage for a special talent show last night.

Met's Got Talent saw more than 50 pupils and staff raising £300 for Wallace and Gromit's Grand Appeal. Support assistant Richard Dixon led the way with Michael Jackson's Thriller. Michelle Lambert, expressive arts teacher, said: "It's all been possible thanks to the hard work of music teacher Lis Jolley." Winner of best solo act went to Year 8 pupil Zoe Golledge, for Whitney Houston's Greatest Love of All.

Female staff members won best staff act with Beyonce's Single Ladies, best group was Year 11's Kate Williams, Sophie Nuttall and Rosie Taylor with High School Musical and the performance of the night was the Bollywood dancers of Years 10 and 11.
