Bristol MP and musicians hold fundraiser for Russian punk group Pussy Riot
Following the arrest of three members of Russian punk group Pussy Riot and the subsequent sentencing of two of them for the crime of "hooliganism driven by religious hatred" there have been outcries from many corners of the Western World, in particular from musicians and artists.
On Sunday, November 18, at The Lanes, Bristol musicians and Bristol MP Kerry McCarthy have got together to host a fundraiser for the women.

Pussy Riot
The focus of the event will be live music with three artists lined up to play including local favourites Empty Pools, She Makes War and Josie Ghost.
Apart from the three live bands there will be other activities including: an exclusive screening of a short film about Pussy Riot based on events in parliament and including clips of the women, as well as stalls and DJs.
