Bristol City youngster Joe Morrell was named captain for Wales Under-17s in their recent double-header with Finland.

The midfielder from the club’s Academy played in both international friendlies, along with club team-mate Connor Lemonheigh-Evans.

Finland ran out 2-1 winners in the first game at Nantporth Stadium, Bangor on Tuesday.

But Wales hit back yesterday with a 1-0 success at Colliers Park, Wrexham.
