Cirencester Town 1 Bristol City 4

A young Bristol City team proved too strong for an inexperienced Cirencester side in the Gloucestershire Senior Challenge Cup.

Town took the lead on 14 minutes through Brandon Preece.

However, Joe Lennox shot City level shortly before the interval.

The City youngsters went 2-1 up in the second half when Ashley Kington cut inside to beat Tom King.

Joe Edwards then made the tie safe for Bristol City with two strikes in the last ten minutes - lobbing King for the third before finishing off good work by Rob Stanbolziev.
