Bristol City winger Albert Adomah off to Nations Cup
Bristol City winger Albert Adomah has made Ghana's 23-man squad for the African Cup of Nations finals, which begin in South Africa later this month.
One of 26 players to attend a pre-tournament training camp in Abu Dhabi, Adomah made the cut when Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah submitted his final squad today.

His selection is bad news for Championship strugglers City, who could be without their star player until the middle of February.
Ghana begin their Nations Cup campaign on 20 January against DR Congo before facing Mali and Niger in Group B.

“@john. No way do I want to deny him this opportunity. As I said, I am really pleased he has this chance. Over the last few years Albert has been our one consistent bright shining light, fabulous attitude and always seems to try his best. I'd love it for him and Ghana to win the thing.”

“Marto , lets look at it as a positive , he could have a fantastic tournament and we can get may 10 % more on a transfer if he is to move in Jan , or he has a mare and no one wants him and we can keep him bombing up our wing , its a win win , just like you say we need to muddle thro in the mean time, but it is the biggest shop window in the football at the present time and you cant deny him the oppertunity”
