Bristol City striker Sam Baldock in race against time to face Ipswich Town
Bristol City are sweating on the fitness of top-scorer Sam Baldock ahead of Saturday's npower Championship clash against Ipswich Town at Ashton Gate.
The nine-goal striker has been out of action since jarring a knee early in the New Year and has missed games against Blackburn Rovers, Leicester City and Leeds United.
He subsequently pulled a calf muscle during a fitness test ahead of the recent home game against Leicester and has not trained since.
City have failed to score in any of their last three outings and new head coach Sean O'Driscoll is hoping the former MK Dons and West Ham United marksman will recover in time to face Ipswich this weekend.
